These are plants that have been covered in latex paint to have a certain color that does not appear in nature.
They will die if left like this, it is recommended you get a very tiny paint chipper and slowly remove the paint from the plant so it is able to photosynthesize within the first day of getting it.
In retrospect, we probably should have marketed this as a fidgeting device.
